An Evaluation of Technical Efficiency and Garret Ranking Technique of Paddy and Wheat Farmers in Dabra Block Gwalior District M.P.

Objective: An evaluation of technical efficiency and garret ranking technique paddy wheat farmers has been conducted.
 Methods: Multistage random sampling method was used to acquire sample farmer. A list growing prepared from Dabra block twenty villages were selected randomly thereafter, a each village then classified into five major categories on the basis their land holding i.e. marginal(less than 1ha), small (1-2 ha), semi medium (2-4 (4-10 large (greater 10 ha). Then 30 in category by simple under proportionate allocation 20 treated as strata thus, 150 hence total size 300.
 Finding: The likelihood test ratio (LR test) for inefficiency term farms observed at 32.91 which significant suggesting that component is present model. In case farms, noted 1.02 insignificant not highest (88%) found comparison (72%).This implied an average 12 per cent 28 potential achieved growers respectively.
 Novelty: studies establish have more opportunity amplify yield adopting modern crop management practices, training activities compared farmers.
